In Review: The Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide

I do not like quartz watches. Let’s get that straight. But I like this one.

This is the Maurice Lacroix Aikon #Tide (or #tide) and it’s a fascinating little piece. It’s a $750 Swiss quartz that comes inside a reusable coffee (or Mai-Tai) cup and it’s made almost entirely out of recycled ocean plastic. It’s not the prettiest watch you’ll own nor is it the most complex but it is a luxury piece that definitely does some good.

The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Venturer is daring fun

When is a dress watch a dive watch? When is a dive watch a dress watch? And what happens when the two cross over? You get the Aikon Venturer.

Hands-on with the AIKON Limited Edition Chronograph by Maurice Lacroix

Maurice Lacroix has produced 500 pieces of a limited edition automatic chronograph in the AIKON collection. If you like a watch that doesn’t follow the traditional lugs/circle dial/tachymetre bezel recipe, this is the one.
