Graham has just announced the Fortress Green, a pilot’s chronograph with a clever left-side crown and monopusher built right in.

The watch has a bold green face and Graham’s signature hands and numerals. It runs a G1750, automatic chronograph monopusher movement, and has a display back so you can see all the fiddly bits. From Graham:

The green sunray dial features #bold, luminescent hour, and minutes which collaborate with ample, applied Arabic numerals, imparting meaning. The dial has two circular brushed counters, a small seconds display at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph register at 6 o’clock. A date display is located adjacent the monopusher/crown. Housed in a 47mm stainless steel case, the generous proportions of the watch confer impressive wrist presence, while the exhibition caseback affords sight of the Fortress’s Swiss automatic movement.

The watch has a massive 47mm face and is limited to 100 pieces. It’s a great-looking piece but there’s one dealbreaker: you’ll pay $7,900 for the pleasure of its company. Some things, I suppose, are worth it.
