Victorinox, they of the Swiss Army knife, has long created watches that were, at best, considered fashion pieces. Thankfully they’ve stepped up their game and returned to their hearty, utilitarian roots.

Two updated models just dropped, the I.N.O.X and the Journey 1884. The I.N.O.X. is a bold quartz chronograph that looks like something you’d wear tracking bears in the woods. The Journey 1884 comes in quartz and automatic and is a bit more staid and compact.

The pieces are made of recycled steel to keep things environmentally friendly and, at about $500 for the Journey 1884, they’re priced right for a Swiss watch. Here are the details.
