Tissot PRX 35mm Wrist Watch

Perhaps it’s not quite how the historical timeline plays out, but in my memory, it seems the reintroduction of the Tissot PRX a few years back really sort of started off the wave of vintage-look sports watches with integrated bracelets. The PRX line has been popular, and seen a number of variants introduced. Now, their most compact version – the Tissot PRX 35mm – has an ice blue dial option, as well as an all gold-tone (dial, case, and bracelet) available for you.

What is the Tissot PRX 35mm?

Well, it’s the Tissot PRX, just writ a little smaller. Yes, their product pages seem to imply the 35mm is a women’s watch, but we take umbrage with that. If you’ve got a smaller wrist, or just like the look of a smaller watch, then we say wear it in good health, no matter your gender. Across all of the lineup, you’ve got the lovely waffle dial set into a case that manages to smoothly blend curves and angles, going down to a crisp integrated bracelet.

What’s the big deal?

Well, for one, it’s the looks, isn’t it? It’s somewhat vintage yet still modern, and the overall look just clicks in a variety of ways (especially across the various versions). The design has become a versatile palette, but this is not a watch that is all show. Tucked inside is the Powermatic 80 automatic movement that, among other things, grants you up to an 80-hour power reserve, and that’s a spec you’re not going to see at these price points from other brands.

Tissot PRX 35mm – Pricing

There are a lot of variants available now (which you can see here). If you want the Ice Blue (product page) that runs for $695, while the super-70s all-gold (product page) commands $825. That said, both look to be sold out, so you’ll need to sign up to be notified for when they’re back, or check out one of the other options from tissot.com
