It’s hard to believe, but my first post showed up on WristWatchReview two years ago now (here it is, for the curious). Two years, 840+ posts later, and I think it’s time for a celebration.
In the opposite to how annivesary presents normally work, though, I’m going to be the one giving the present to one lucky ready, courtesy of our friends over at TokyoFlash. You’ll have a chance to win this watch, which normally retails at $199 (our review of the watch can be found here: parts 1 and 2).
To enter, just follow the steps outlined in the widget below – good luck!
Thank you for reading this WristWatchReview post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
WristWatchReview is one of the few remaining truly independent watch news outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent watch sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis. We don't play the games the other sites play and we've paid for it when it comes to ad revenue.
We would love for you to support us on Patreon and every little bit helps. Thank you.

These new tech watches are cool.
I like how you focus not solely on high end watches. But review watches in the sub $300 categories. Refreshing in a sea of uber high end watch blogs.
Thanks!
I’m a fan of quartz watches, and I’m always looking for interesting new pieces. You turned me on to three: an Ocean7, a Techné, and a Stolas, which, unfortunately, has not shipped after nearly two years 🙁
Glad we could help point you to some new pieces. Sorry to hear about the Stolas, though! Try as we might, we never got a review sample in from them.
Congrats and happy anniversary! I’ve been reading your posts daily since I stumbled on wristwatchreview, which has been a good while now.
Thanks – keep on readin’!
I appreciate the way you review. For me, a watch is a big splurge, and I want to make sure I’m getting something that works for my needs.
Glad we can be of help in that regard.
Great contest. Thanks for the opportunity from all of us watch lovers
Happy Anniversary. Refreshing and technical writings on a subject that is not well covered.

Your writeup on Bernhardt watches lead me to purchase a Sea Shark and it has been a great watch. Keep up the good work!
Glad we could point you to a new watch!
Hey, happy birthday WWR, keep up the good work Patrick!
I really like your reviews much more that other sites. You give nice pictures and keep the review easy going its like your our friend and just casually showing us ur new watches and then even giving them away its a fun way to see the world of watches fron your computer!
Wha Hoo! This watch looks bad ass!
I like the fact that you can submit your own watch idea to TokyoFlash and they may chose your design.
You really helped give me confidence to order from G Gerlach. Excellent reviews and writing style.
