Benrus just announced its latest addition to its lineup: the Type I-C watch collection. It is a homage to the brand’s storied military legacy and its long-standing relationship with military design and functionality.

The Type I series is revered for its simplicity and clarity. The design ethos of the original Type I watch is carried forward into the Type I-C collection. This dedication to preserving the integrity of the initial design is evident in every aspect of the new collection, from the dial to the case, maintaining a seamless link with the past.

The Type I-C collection introduces a palette that is deeply symbolic, featuring classic red, white, and blue colorways. It’s a thoughtful nod to the brand’s origins and its continued connection to American military history.

At the heart of the Type I-C watch is the Soprod P024 automatic movement, known for its reliability and precision. The watch boasts a 38-hour power reserve.

The watch is housed in a 42.5mm bead-blasted stainless steel asymmetric case that offers a unique and contemporary silhouette while paying homage to the rugged and utilitarian design favored by the military. The screw-in textured crown and water resistance of 30ATM ensure that the watch is as functional as it is stylish, ready to withstand the rigors of daily wear or more adventurous pursuits.

The dial of the Type I-C maintains its clean, legible appearance, a hallmark of the original Type I design. The addition of a bidirectional rotating hour bezel and an upgraded double domed sapphire crystal enhances the functionality and durability of the watch, making it a reliable companion for any adventure.

Priced at $1,495, the Type I-C collection is available now.
