Fossil has very much been on a tear as of late. It’s been a mix of new releases and dips back into their extensive catalog, and this latest one is in the latter category. As with the other reissues, I can’t say as I recall seeing the Fossil Blue before, but I’m rather happy to see it now.
While the lineup is called Fossil Blue, you’re going to have a hard time finding it under that name (the search on their site will just take you to blue-toned watches). What you want to search for is FB-01, as that’s what the Fossil Blue is actually called. And once you search that, you’ll see some classic sport/dive watch inspired pieces, across a variety of colors.
The Fossil Blue FB-01 is available in a number of colors, but there are two that caught my eye immediately. Both have black dials, but the bezels are different. One is black/blue split, and the other is the classic red/blue (aka, Pepsi) bezel. That Pepsi style has been rather popular as of late, showing up on a number of watches. Where the Fossil differentiates itself is – among other design elements – the inclusion of a cyclops on the crystal. I know those aren’t for everyone, but I am definitely a fan.
