Here at WWR, we’re a fan of tritium illumination on a dial. Sure, we like any glowy bits on our watches, but there’s just something about the glow you get from tritum. There a few brands out there making them, and then there’s the one that is run by MB-Microtec. They’re the company that’s making these tritium tubes, and they own Traser. Just recently, they released an update to their Traser P67 Officer Pro.

What we like about it

With this version of the Traser P67 Officer Pro, you can tell things have gone firmly back to a field watch aesthetic and functionality. This means you have a cleanly legible dial, a case that is not polished, and a form that prizes functionality. This is why the inclusion of a date window is a good thing.

Sure, this is a watch that is meant for hard duty out in the, well, field. But it’s also a concession that many of us are putting these watches to work in the office and regular life. So, by giving you the basics of what you need day-to-day, you can wear this whenever you want.

Pair that with the always glowing tritium tubes, and you’ve got a pretty solid three-hander. Here, it’s a quartz movement tucked in the stainless steel case. Sure, they have models with automatic movements (including this P67 we reviewed), but quartz helps keep a watch robust, as well as a bit more affordable.

Wrapping things Up

If you’re looking for a solid everyday watch that has some military design cues, it would be hard to argue against the Traser P67 Officer Pro. In our book, this is the perfect sort of a watch that you’d have for your camping trips and other outdoor adventures. It’ll be robust, keep you on time, and even let you see what time it was the random noise outside the tent woke you up.

The Traser P67 Officer Pro is available in four dial colors (black, blue, grey, or khaki) on either a textile strap or a stainless steel bracelet. If you go for the strap, you’re looking at $530, while the braclet bumps the 42mm watch up to $640. You can check these out, as well as the rest of the range, directly at traser.com
