To be fair, the Mondaine Essence collection has been around for a bit, and offered a number of different eco-friendly solutions in the materials used. This spring, however, they introduced three new pastel colorways.

More specifically, the colors come via the textile straps the watches use, as all of them have the same classic Railway Clock dial that is so iconic for Mondaine. Across the collection, these are the eco-conscious things that they’re doing:

The Essence collection features three different pastel colors that tap into the peaceful emotions that gentle shades of pink, green and white evoke to create a new ‘White’ Collection to be treasured for its sustainability and natural style.

Developed using eco-friendly sources, its renewable materials including Rizinus (castor oil) for its case; natural rubber for the strap and recycled PET bottles for its multi-purpose pouch, make these modern creations not only clean and simple in design but considerate to the world we live in. The watches are made with easy-to-change recycled textile straps lined with natural cork that allow the freedom to jump between shades.

Across the entirety of the line (and varying case sizes), it seems most of the Mondaine Essence collection comes in at $245, though looking through the product pages, there are a few designs hovering around the $220 mark. To us, this looks like a solid warm-weather option for the person with an eye for industrial design.
