Earlier this year, we told you about the new Christopher Ward The Twelve (seen here), and then again when they shrunk the case from 40mm to 36mm (here). It’s quite an entrancing look, and a lovely dial, no matter the case size. Just in time for raising a champagne toast, they’ve now introduced the Christopher Ward The Twelve 36 Alta Gold.

Christopher Ward The Twelve 36 Alta Gold: Style

For this watch, they took the 36mm version, mashed it up with the rose gold bezel of the Halo, and came up with this classically dressy look in a size that should fit a wide variety of wrists. We think it’s interesting that there’s a rubber strap option, but thankfully, the stock bracelet looks to be just what you’d want.

Here’s what CW says about the new design:

The Alta Gold boasts the same textured dial as the original Twelve, but unlike its big brother, has no date window – here, clarity and space are all: witness the slimmer indexes that sit perfectly on the shimmering bezel. And because we believe practicality and sophistication are two sides of the same coin, the handset is deep-filled with lume for timekeeping after-dark. The applied ‘twin-flags’ logo adds further depth.
