We will be among the first to admit that the SevenFriday style can be a bit polarizing. By that, we mean there is no middle ground, either you like the circles-in-a-square theme, or you’ve decided it’s just not for you. They know their design language, and they stick with it. For the arrival of warmer weather, they’ve released the SevenFriday Beach Club.
The SevenFriday Beach Club is actually a two-watch collection that marks the 10-year anniversary for the brand. It’s based on the P-series line that can sometimes be viewed as a bit more industrial, so how to update it for summer? Color is the key here, friends. While the main dial, case, and strap are done in a crisp white, you have accent colors in either blue (the P3C/10) or pink (P3C/12).
Many brands would settle for those colors just showing up on the dial, or maybe in some contrast stitching. SevenFriday upped the ante a bit by putting that accent around the bezel, as well as the whole surround of the case itself. At first, that case looks almost like those see-through sapphire ones, but that’s not the case here. Still, it’s a great way to get more color thrown in there, and help the watch stand out from the crowd.
Both models of the SevenFriday Beach Club are now available for $1,200. And sure, if you need to jump in the sea, the 100m WR rating should keep you relatively safe, just watch out for that leather strap.
