Ingersoll is certainly no stranger to these pages – and some interesting sales over at ToM are in that same camp.  Today’s sale (here; runs through April 20th) mashes up the two, offering discounts on fourteen different models.

We haven’t reviewed any of these specifically, but they’re offering quite a variety of styles, all with automatic movements, from $200 and up.  If you’re not a ToM member yet, you can use this link to sign up.

  1. I have an Ingersoll, not one on sale though, and the fit and finish, as well as the accuracy of the movement, is on par with watches costing a bit more, especially with the sale price.

For some reason, the company likes using sub dials for day and date complications, making that watches look like chronographs, but (at least the ones I looked at in the sale) they are not chronos.

They are generally beefy, adn they stand up to daily wear quite nicely. For someone looking for an entry level automatic, you could do much worse.
