To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the G-Shock Frogman, Casio has released a new version of the GWFA1000APF1 that takes design cues from the poison dart frog.

It’s honestly amazing.

Vivid black, orange, and blue are interwoven in organic patterns that emulate the beautiful colors of the poison dart frog. The bezel is cut out from a base material of laminated carbon and glass fibers with a unique pattern, so no two pieces are alike — making it as rare as this frog species. The multicolor design is highlighted using similar colors on the dial and clear resin for the bezel components.

Made from highly stain-resistant fluoroelastomer, the band is coated with a polarized paint to create the look of the poison dart frog and changes colors based on light reflection. Further pulling in standard FROGMAN features, the watch is engraved with the iconic frog character on its carbon monocoque case, which is reimagined for this model as a poison dart frog.

The whole thing looks like it came from Serpentor-era GI Joe and it features all the G-Shock trimmings including bluetooth updating of the time and timezones.

It’s a little pricey at $1,100 but it looks great and if you’re a Frogman fiend you can’t go wrong. The watch is available now.
