While there are cycles to new watch releases, there are also cycles to new color themes coming out on your favorite watch brands. Spring and summer are just around the corner, and that means it’s new colors hitting popular lines. In the case of G-Shock, it’s actually a number of colors, as they’re introducing camouflage patterns across a number of their models.

Now, when I first got this press release, I was imagining they were putting the camo pattern across the entirety of the watch. Which, I guess that’s a look, if you like that sort of thing? I’m really much happier with what they’ve done here and limited the camo to just the dial, and done it in patterns that mesh with the more-or-less neutral colors they’ve done on the watches.

For the new models, they show up across three different lines – the DW5600, GA2100, and GA700, for a total of five new models. The ones that I find the most appealing are the digital-only DW5600 watches, just for their pure simplicity (doesn’t hurt that it looks a lot like the GBD200), just for the simplicity of the display. The other two watches, you’re getting into ana-digi displays, which ups the complexity of things by a notch or two, so you’ll need to spend some time to learn about all of the functionality.

Still, whatever model line you’re looking at, you’re going to find a low, low price waiting for you – just $99. Check out the full lineup, and get ready for springtime, on over at gshock.com
