We’ve been talking about the Christopher Ward C65 since it first arrived (for example, here and here). When it was first introduced, it started as a spin-off / variant of the C60 Trident Pro line. Well, now it’s graduated and become it’s own thing, now known as the Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine collection.

Looking at the watches, you can pick up the vintage dive watch vibe (say, 1950s or 1960s) that the entire line is carrying. This comes through with the pips-and-bars indice set, as well as the bubbled bezel that surrounds the high-dome crystal. Past those element, the handset is very much the CW sword-and-baton, and of course the CW logo appears on the dial.

For this collection, there are three versions. My personal favorite is of course the Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine GMT, but there is also a simpler three-hander automatic, as well as a bronze-case version that also brings along a COSC-rated version of the movement. So, take your pick. Do you want to enter the waters with a SW 200-powered three-hander (at $1,075), go COSC-rated and play with bronze patinas (for $1,325), or go with the world-travel ready version in a SW 330-2 powered GMT for $1,350. You’ll be able to check out the full collection – and order your own – directly at christopherward.com
