It’s one thing to look at your watch to check the time. Have you ever wondered if the watch was looking back at you? Well, you no longer have to wonder that with the Timex x Jacquie Aiche Mineral collection.

In my book, the combination of a fluted bezel and jubilee-style bracelet is always a good choice. Here, those are done up in a gold tone finish, that makes the inclusion of the semi-precious dials (malachite, Tiger’s Eye, or lapis) just fit in. The addition of Austrian crystal hour markers brings an additional bit of sparkle to the look.

So far, then, the Timex x Jacquie Aiche Mineral collection may look and feel a lot like like a, say, Datejust clone, right? And hey, why not, it’s a classic design, and it’s been popular for ages. Still, how do you make this stand out from all of the others out there? Well, with Jacquie Aiche on board, that means that her signature “Evil Eye” takes up pride of place on the dial – making sure the watch watches you.

It looks like the first wave of these has already sold out (at $350), but I’m told that more will be coming. If you want to check them out, you can do that over at Timex, or at Jacquie Aiche. You can also sign up to be alerted when they arrive over at timex.com
