New Timex Marlin models have landed

While some may choose to sleep on the Timex models from the last few years, there have been some rather sharp-looking pieces. One of the ones that really caught our eye was the vintage-look Timex Marlin, and two new versions were recently released.

Introducing: Timex x Pan Am Waterbury

When one thinks of Pan Am, you’re put in mind of a much different type of air travel than we are accustomed to today. While the airline stopped flying back in 1991, that hasn’t kept the name from showing up in a number of places. The latest such spot is a new collaboration in the form of the Timex x Pan Am Waterbury.

We’ve seen a number of watch brands utilizing recycled ocean plastic that comes from #tide Ocean Material. We’re glad to see those materials not just getting removed from the oceans, but also being put to new use in consumer goods. The latest to take advantage of this trend is the newly announced Timex Waterbury Ocean.

Recently Released: Timex x Stranger Things

Just last week, the latest season of Stranger Things released on Netflix. To celebrate that, Timex is releasing three new versions of watches that tie into the show. It works, as there are a number of Timex watches that show up in the series, so this tie-in feels a bit more organic.

We had a bit of a gap in our giveaways, that is true. This month, however, our friends over at Timex have one ready for you, our dear readers. That’s right – you can win the Timex M79 that we reviewed a bit ago.

In Review: Q Timex GMT

Last month, we brought you word of the latest Q Timex release that featured my favorite complication, a GMT hand (you can read about that here). As fortune would have it, we’ve been able to spend some time with this release, so we’ve got a hands-on review of the newest Q Timex GMT.
