You know what we haven’t seen in awhile? A new Timex x Todd Snyder collaboration. If you were thinking the same day – and you like vintage-look chronographs – then you are in luck, my friend. Take a look at the Timex x Todd Snyder MK-1 Sky King.

If the name of the watch didn’t tip you off, the looks of the watch is definitely going to put you in mind of the 1960s. What we’ve got with this new reinterpretation of an old design is a sort of mashup of a field watch and a pilot’s chronograph. The chronograph bits, that’s pretty self-evident from the pushers flanking the crown and the sub-dials. You get the pilot vibe from the arrow at 12 o’clock and the elongated hands. The field watch bit, that comes from the utilitarian steel case complete with a lack of polished surfaces.

Myself, I’m not much for chronographs, but something about the orange dial version (you could opt for a more subdued black with a coated case) just feels fun. If you want to pick one up, they’re going for $168 from toddsnyder.com
