When my family is at a beach, one of the favorite pasttimes is to wander the waterline and look for sea glass. We’ve done this at local beaches, as well as on some far-flung trips as well. If you like the look of sea glass, but don’t want to collect your own, then the Skagen Blue Sea Glass collection might catch your eye.

Now, to be fair, the Skagen Blue Sea Glass collection isn’t actually made of found sea glass. Instead, it’s inspired by the blues that you would see of the glass (which, in our experience, is not so common to find), or perhaps reminding you of the waters you were walking by.

They’ve got a number of different jewelry options, including bracelets, pendants, and earrings, and you can check out those options here. On the watch side of things, you’ve got the Holst quartz chronograph ($155) that gives you that bold blue dial in a classic look. There’s also the quartz Kuppel ($125) that brings an interesting inverted curve to the dial that puts us in mind of the smooth rocks at the beach.

Oh, and here’s another quick hit – if you’re more interested in a watch to get into the water – rather than inspired by what you see in the water – then you’ll want to check out the Signatur Sport. Sure, it’s just a 50m WR rating, but that’s enough for beach combing – and it’s got a look rather unlike any Skagen we’ve seen before. We’ll work on getting a loaner in, so be on the lookout for that. skagen.com
