Yesterday, we put the focus on a new solar-powered collection that recently released. Well, solar power seems to be a theme among some brands this spring, as Skagen introduced some new solar-powered models in their Grenen collection, called the Skagen Grenen Solar Halø.

As you can see from the photo at the top of this article, the Skagen Grenen Solar Halø comes in two different sizes – 26mm and 37mm – and across a variety of colors and finishes, and strap or bracelet options. In other words, you can get as colorful as you want to (or not), and pick out the watch that fits your wrist the best.

While I’d go for the blue-and-grey dial on the blue leather or the blue-and-green on the steel bracelet, the amazing thing about this Skagen Grenen Solar Halø collection is that they all come in at $165, regardless of the finishes or bracelets. They all have a slightly minimal approach to indicating the time (a central disc for the hour, and then a large hand for the minutes), and it’s all packed into a super compact and thin case.

In other words, if you’re looking for a semi-casual watch that’s never going to run out of battery – and always be accurate due to being quartz – it would hard to argue against the Danish aesthetic embodied in the Skagen Grenen Solar Halø collection. Check out the full details over at skagen.com
