The Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT, now with sherbet

Early last year, Zodiac introduced a GMT version of their Super Sea Wolf that was super popular, and quickly sold out. Zodiac knows a good thing when they see it, and they talked with fans about what the next color palette should be. Well, the public has spoken, and now we’re going to be getting a sherbet-inspired Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT.

In terms of the watch itself, it looks to be very much the same model we saw earlier – and that’s ok. In the same way I’ve reviewed a few different flavors of non-GMT Zodiac Super Sea Wolf models, they’re well-executed, and Zodiac knows how to make these watches. Rather than the jubilee-style bracelets I saw in those earlier reviews (seen here, for example), we’ve got the three-link sport bracelet.

But you know what they’ve done here? The’ve polished the center link, which I think is a superb way to go (just like on my very favored Sjoo Sandstrom) as it gives you a bit of flash without making the watch a fingerprint magnet.

Of course, the star of the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT show is that new bezel combo. The sherbet orange plus bright white just screams summertime. Those colors carry onto the dial as well, though the dial has a bit more of an offwhite hue to it, so I’m not 100% sold on that. Then again, seeing it in person should help settle that – and we should have a loaner on the way in to help settle that in a full review.

If you’re feeling impatient, you can get all the details on the $1,695 Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT – and place your own order – directly from the brand. zodiacwatches.com

Thank you for reading this WristWatchReview post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

WristWatchReview is one of the few remaining truly independent watch news outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent watch sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis. We don't play the games the other sites play and we've paid for it when it comes to ad revenue.

We would love for you to support us on Patreon and every little bit helps. Thank you.
