Back in 2011, Sjo?o? Sandstro?m first introduced a watch named for the deepest ravine in the Baltic Sea. The Landsort Ravine goes to a depth of 459 meters, so it only made sense that the watch would carry a water resistance rating that matches it, no? Well, a little over a decade later, we’ve got some new versions of Sjo?o? Sandstro?m Landsort 459m now available.

The ones you see at the top of the article are the standard-edition Sjo?o? Sandstro?m Landsort 459m models, done up in a stainless steel case (slimmed down from the original to 42.5mm). Those have either a black, blue, or green dial (with a lovely textured wave pattern), and a bezel insert and rubber strap that coordinates with the dial.

There’s also a limited-edition version of the Sjo?o? Sandstro?m Landsort 459m, limited to 100 pieces and with a bronze case, for that extra association to the maritime. This case is also 42.5mm (same as the steel), and has the same hefty crown guards that the steel version have. The watch should be as wearable as any other deep dive capable watches, you’ll just want to watch out for those crown guards, we think.

Inside the case, all versions of the Sjo?o? Sandstro?m Landsort 459m rely on the Swiss-Made S G15 automatic movement, so just keep moving, and they’ll keep on a-ticking. All that’s left is to talk about pricing, right? We’ve converted the SEK pricing, but bear in mind that those already contain VAT, so those in the States will likely see a lower price. With that out of the way – the steel version comes in at $2,965, while the bronze limited-edition commands $3,992. Check them out at sjoosandstrom.com
