You’re likely more familiar with Tutima as watches that are a bit beefier, like the options from the M2 lineup that we’ve reviewed before. They also do dressier pieces, complete with hand-wound movements with plenty of hand-finished touches. Their latest addition, the Tutima Patria Rose Gold, encapsulates all of this.

To look at the Tutima Patria Rose Gold, you know you’ve got a dressier piece (even if it wasn’t done in 18k rose gold). The classic arrow tip handset (note that these are hand-polished) spinning over the deep blue dial, paired with the applied indices (and nary a touch of luminous paint) tell us that yes, this is intended as a dress piece (even if those crown guards crept over from the sportier side of the house).

Inside that flashy case, the Tutima Patria Rose Gold is powered by the handwound 617 movement. Flip the watch over, and you’ll be greeted by an exhibition caseback. Through it, you’d see the decorations on the movement, as well as the Breguet hairspring that has it’s final curve (also known as the terminal curve) that is bent by hand.

So, yes, there’s a lot of “by hand” stuff that takes up residence in the Tutima Patria Rose Gold. Between that and the 18k rose gold case, it should not be a surprise that the price tag comes in at $21,900. The blue dial is the latest versions, but there are other dial colors (that came before) also available. Check it all out over at tutima.com
