Welcome back to our regular installment, the Watch Video Rewind. Today, we’ve got three different videos for you at differing lengths. Hey, it’s a long weekend, so why not spend a bit more time reviewing some watch videos?
First up, we have a video about something I am going to hazard not many of us have thought about – how a quartz watch works. In this short video (found via Reddit), we have a concise explanation for how they work, and even how the quartz tuning forks are calibrated.
Next up, we have yet another classic Hamilton movie about mechanical watch movements. (another Reddit find). Regardless, if you like the vintage news story style, this is another fun one. Sure, it is one that we have run before, but it’s a great video, and worth another posting.
Finally, we have an entry from the Talking Watches series over at Hodinkee. Today, they are talking with a personality I am very familiar with from Tech TV, Digg, and Diggnation – Kevin Rose.
And that wraps things up for us today. If you run across a cool watch-related video, drop us a line!
Thank you for reading this WristWatchReview post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
WristWatchReview is one of the few remaining truly independent watch news outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent watch sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis. We don't play the games the other sites play and we've paid for it when it comes to ad revenue.
We would love for you to support us on Patreon and every little bit helps. Thank you.
