I’ve had my eye on Prometheus for a while now and it looks like they’ve hit on a winner. The Manta Ray is a 1000M diver that looks like a tank and has the styling of a un-oranged Doxa. It has an ETA automatic movement and gas release.

The price is almost right. It’s $900 for a three-hander so I’m a little cautious but for that price you get a 316L stainless steel case and heavy-duty bracelet. It has a 44mm face and unidirectional bezel.

    1. I can’t speak for what John was looking at, but he may have inadvertently grabbed the price from the “within the EU” line. It does appear that the $721.50 is the current price outside of the EU.
