Bell & Ross, one of my favorite manufacturers, has launched the new BR03-92-NIGHTLUM, a matte black watch with a load of lume that makes it one of the brightest watches you can buy.

The company is famous for its aviator watches styled to look like they came right out of a plane cockpit. This watch is no exception. Based on the standard BR03 model, it runs a calibre BR-CAL.302 automatic movement and is 43mm across. It comes with a grey-green calfskin and ultra-resilient black synthetic fabric band.

I truly love B&R. Although they go off the rails a bit in styling some of their limited editions, I think it’s one of the most unique and wearable big watches on the market. They don’t do the traditional Panerai trick of connecting their design to some mythical Italian frogmen nor do they stray far from what made them famous. They offer big, readable watches for people who love them some lume.

You can pick up your own for $3,800 right here and perhaps one day you’ll be stranded on a desert island flashing this thing at passing jets in the dark.
