Introducing: Oris Wings of Hope Limited Editions

Wings of Hope Limited Edition_mood

As you are no doubt aware, Oris is big into supporting causes that help make the world a better place, and they’re also big into aviation watches. So, then, this latest pair of watches seems like a perfect match for them. Meet the Oris Wings of Hope Limited Editions.

Introducing: Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300

When it comes to the dive watches that Christopher Ward offers, your mind no doubt immediately goes to the Trident line. That’s the first exposure I had to CW as a brand. More recently, they went for the high-pressure specs, releasing a model capable of a 600m water resistance rating. For this latest version, they listened to feedback from the forums and came up with what we’re seeing in the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300.

Introducing: Panerai Luminor BiTempo

Panerai is a brand I’ve long had an admiration for, in terms of the style of watches they produce. The sandwich dials have that dash of retro to them, while the overall look of things – along with the crown guard – just makes for an instantly recognizable watch. The latest to hit all of those marks, and wrap in some useful complications, would be the Panerai Luminor BiTempo.

Introducing: Timex x Pan Am Waterbury

When one thinks of Pan Am, you’re put in mind of a much different type of air travel than we are accustomed to today. While the airline stopped flying back in 1991, that hasn’t kept the name from showing up in a number of places. The latest such spot is a new collaboration in the form of the Timex x Pan Am Waterbury.

Recently Released: Soulland x Skagen Grenen

Continuing the theme of collaborations that we’ve been seeing this year, we’ve been told about another one that brings together two Danish brands – Soulland and Skagen. Soulland is a fashion brand, and this collaboration design was on the runway at the fall 2022 Copenhagen Fashion Week. Meet the Soulland x Skagen Grenen.

In Review: Tutima M2 Seven Seas

The last time we were talking to you about the Tutima M2 Seven Seas (which you can see here), we were covering the new dial colors that had been released. While it’s been about a year since that release, the dials are still indeed available, and we were recently able to have a loaner in of this titanium-encased K├╝rbis.

In Review: Undone Aquaman

While I’ve been known to enjoy many a different comic book character, show, or movie, I’ve always leaned a bit more towards DC. While Batman is where I put the #1 tag, the whole of the Justice League has some interesting folks. Well, ok, Aquaman has always felt a little underwhelming, at least until we got Jason Momoa’s interpretation of the character. While I’m not sure what sort of watch Arthur Curry would actually want or need, the Undone Aquaman does look like it could get the job done.

Recently Released: moVas Bronze Diver II

Recently, another new model hit the moVas website – the moVas Bronze Diver II. This is, as you might correctly guess, an update to their prior Bronze Diver. While there is a lot to like about this large bronze diver, it seems to us that the dial is the clear start of the show.

Recently Released: Schofield Japanese Beater B5

The Schofield Beater line of watches are delightfully robust, and have materials and finishes that have them looking like watches that are, well, designed to take a beating. Just because something is rough and tough doesn’t mean it can’t have some delicate touches to it, though. At least, that’s what the Schofield Japanese Beater B5 shows us.

Recently Released: Tom Ford N.004

While there are a few brands that have leaned into watches made from ocean plastic, it’s just a single model most often. Just recently, Tom Ford released their second model (we covered the prior ones here) that embraces the recycled plastic taken from the oceans. Meet the Tom Ford N.004.
