Introducing The TokyoFlash Kisai Zone

Tokyoflash Japan has just released a new watch design called Kisai Zone, and it’s the first time I think I’ve seen hexagons showing up on a dial. This is another rather interesting watch.  As with the other LCD-equipped models we’ve shown you from TF, this one is in an “always on” mode, so it’ll be easy to glance at it to read the time (once you’ve got the pattern down).

Very easy to read display

You’ll also be able to see constant movement on the dial, with the seconds changing.  Also, there’s an additional animation that kicks in every 15 minutes to spin all of the hexes.

The steel case measures in at 45mm, and is mounted on a steel bracelet (guessing folded links) with deployant.  In terms of function, you’ve got the main time display, as well as date, alarm, and an EL backlight.  While there are four color combos available (black+black, black+green, silver+blue, silver+purple), I feel like there’s one missing here – yellow!  Those hexagons remind me a honey comb, so a bumblebee color scheme would just about be a slam dunk for this design.

Regardless of the color, if you move quickly, you can get these at a really nice price.   Until Thursday September 6th at 4pm (Japan time), the Kisai Zone is available at limited time release price of $99 (€78, £63). After that, it goes to it’s regular price of $139 (€110, £88).

Oh, and if you’d like to see a video of the watch in action, you can head on over to TokyoFlash’s YouTube Channel.
